All over France, campsites have been transformed to meet the expectations of a demanding clientele.
High-end camping: comfort, design and exceptional services
Spacious accommodation, elegant decor, modern facilities (flat-screen TV, dishwasher, air conditioning, private terraces, sometimes even a spa or jacuzzi...): comfort is no longer a luxury, it has become the norm. Mobile homes are taking on the appearance of villas, bungalows are becoming suites, and everything is designed to combine the spirit of the outdoors with hotel standards.
From VIP areas to outdoor resorts: when camping becomes total luxury
Some 5-star campsites are going even further by developing real premium areas or VIP spaces, with hotel services, private swimming pools, gourmet restaurants, private spas and even concierge services.
Others are taking it a step further by transforming themselves into fully-fledged outdoor resorts. Holiday Green in Fréjus is a perfect example: a chic holiday village with a spa, art gallery, shops, restaurants and an events programme worthy of a holiday club.
