Local treasures
Perched on a hilltop, Ramatuelle overlooks the famous Baie de Pampelonne. On land, you can stroll through the village's charming medieval streets, visit the Provençal market and see the windmills of Paillas. On the coast, you can enjoy the famous Pampelonne beach, where you can take part in water sports or relax in one of the legendary beach clubs that attract the international jet set, just like Saint-Tropez.

Nature lovers can venture along the coastal path: from Cap Camarat, 1 km from the campsite, a hiking trail leads to the magnificent Escalet beach and its crystal-clear waters (5 km). Experienced hikers can continue along the coastal path to reach the three capes of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, a total of 14 km: Cap Camarat, Cap Taillat and Cap Lardier. 

The campsite is also an ideal starting point for visiting the most beautiful villages of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, including Gassin, Grimaud and Port-Grimaud, nicknamed "the little Venice of Provence".

A little further afield
For a day trip, head to Porquerolles from the port of Cavalaire. This paradise island offers bike rides, sandy beaches and coves hidden among the pine forests.  

The wonders of the hinterland
In the heart of the Massif des Maures, numerous hikes await you through forests of chestnut and cork oak trees.  Spring and autumn are also ideal times for exploring.
