Need to be refreshed ? flat rocks of lakes and rivers are ideal to enjoy a swim and a snack around water. You can enjoy many activities : canoe, rafting, hiking, canyoning, cycling, boat, windsurf and even fishing !
Beaches and wide spaces
Located in Savoie, in the heart of Alpes, The Bourget Lake, biggest natural lake coming from a glacier in France, is the perfect location to enjoy activities for everyone. The environment offers an ideal landscape for swimming, strolling or even for a cruise.
The Vassivière Lake, is the biggest water plant in Limousin and one of the biggest artificial lakes in France. You cand find there many animated beaches. The water temperature can reach 25% in july and august.
One of the biggest river in France, The lot, is waterway on its quasi integrality and its deep waters are ideal to enjoy a swim. In Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, at the bottom of the cliffs, you can also swim in shadowed meadow.
The Lévezou, in Aveyron, this is the sea in the country ! If you are found of hiking or strolls in natures, you can choose between 630 kms of marked out paths !! you can also hike around the mounts and lakes to discover the entire area.
Fishing and water sports
St-Ferréol Lake, at the bottom oft he black mountain on The Laudot (Midi-Pyrénées and Languedoc-Roussillon) is a dammed lake which provides water to Canal du Midi. You can practice several water sports there such aas : windsurf, canoe or even pedal boat.
In the Pyrénées-Orientales you can enjoy several kinds of fishing. Fishing lovers will find bliss there as well as the beginners. More than 60 lakes are full of Salmonides : fario truits and rainbowed, fountain salmon…
Cantal is called Fishermen paradise. Along its 6300 kms of rivers adults and children can enjoy the pleasure of fishing in an amazing environment.
