Presentation
Nestling on the Breton coast, Les Castels Le Ty Nadan 5-star campsite is a great base for exploring the fine sandy beaches and legendary forests of Bigouden Country.
Holidays by the water
We have a range of spacious, secluded pitches by the river, between Morbihan and Finistère. For a well-being break with your family, you can choose from a range of rental accommodation as well as apartments and duplexes with terraces. There is also a gîte to rent, at a short distance from one of the region's most beautiful campsites.
The variety of unusual accommodation is Ty Nadan's strong point. During your holidays in Brittany, you can stay in a big tent or in a kevell, a floating rental property with a canoe moored on the terrace. The safari tents with wooden floors are also worth a look.
Wild water activities
The water park has an indoor pool with a sanitation block and heated changing rooms. On fine days, you can swim outdoors, with several swimming pools and a paddling pool. Children will love the waterfall and the slide that opens up into a cave. Later, they can take part in activities run by Club Mousse.
For your well-being, the relaxation area offers massages, spas and a Jacuzzi. Otherwise, head to the coves of Le Pouldu for a spot of sunbathing. The riding centre and sea diving lessons will add an extra dimension to your holiday in Brittany.
Adventure in Brittany
Head to the Roches du Diable valley for a hike. Meanwhile, the children can try out the ziplines at the adventure parks. Then the whole family can get together to enjoy some Breton gastronomy, for a lively night out at the campsite. Unless you prefer to visit Lorient, Quimper and Pont-Aven, or take a walk on the Breton harbours.
Discover the Region
The Bigoudin region coasts
In Locunole in the Bigoudin region, you are invited to the Ty Nadan campsite. Explore the “Devil’s rocks”, carved out by the river and leaving behind enormous rocks with mysterious shapes just upstream from the campsite. Canoeing competitions are held here every year. Close by the sea, in the heart of the countryside, a wide range of great beaches is on offer in the little creeks formed along the rocky coast.
Family excursions rich in Breton history
A trip to Quimperlé is a great way to explore the Cornouaille region, at the crossroads of the Isole, Ellé and Laïta valleys. A walk along the medieval streets between the Upper and Lower Town is a chance to admire the old corbelled houses, the Basilica, the House of the Archers and Sainte Croix Abbey. Quimper, the capital of Cornouaille, stands at the confluence of the River Steir and the Odet. You will be charmed by its old districts, as well as the cathedral, the museums and the pottery works.
The charms of Brittany villages
The charming little town of Pont-Aven, on the Aven estuary, has inspired painters and artists with its relaxing calm and flamboyant colours. The village of Faouët is rich in history, and has a large number of historic sites to visit, including chapels, fountains and watermills.
