Themed villages at Le Domaine du Colombier
This 5-star campsite in Fréjus has been offering a choice of themed villages for several years now.
The African village
The famous African village, with its wood-clad Kenyan huts topped with thatched roofs, is an exotic experience. The inside is full of “local colour”, with zebra print banquette seats, paintings of Masai people and leopard print curtains. There’s also air-conditioning and a TV with a DVD player! New animals are added to the outside decorations every year.
The Polynesian village
The pedestrianised Polynesian village has Bora Bora Farés not far from the lagoon. The equipment includes all mod cons: sheets and towels provided, coffee capsule machines, dishwasher, air conditioning, 80cm flat screen TV, satellite, DVD player, Wi-Fi card and audio speakers. A huge semi-covered wooden terrace means everyone can enjoy both the shade and the sun. The decoration of these farés was designed by a Tahitian woman, who was keen to showcase Polynesian crafts.
There’s also a luxury village to discover: the Malibu village.
